By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Return Policy, which form part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old, or using the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and legally capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Your account

You can order as a guest or create an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

Please keep your contact and address details accurate. Most delivery failures trace back to an outdated phone number.

Products, descriptions and images

Makhana is an agricultural product. Size, colour and crunch vary naturally between harvests and batches, and that variation is not a defect.

Product photographs are for illustration. We photograph our actual packs, but screen colours differ and styling props shown alongside a pack are not included.

We work to keep descriptions, nutrition values and ingredient lists accurate. The printed label on the pack you receive is the authoritative version — if the website and the physical label ever differ, rely on the label and tell us so we can correct the listing.

Food safety and allergens

Always read the pack label before eating, particularly if you have a food allergy or intolerance. If you have a serious allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can tell you honestly whether we can meet your needs.

Our products are food, not medicine. Nothing on this website is medical or nutritional advice, and we make no claim that any product prevents, treats or cures any condition. If you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, or on a prescribed diet, speak to a qualified professional.

Store as directed on the pack: cool, dry, out of direct sunlight, resealed after opening.

Pricing and payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• The total payable, with its break-up, is shown at checkout before you confirm. Nothing is added afterwards.
• We may change prices and discontinue products at any time. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
• Payment is taken at the time of ordering, except for Cash on Delivery.

Occasionally a product may be listed at an incorrect price because of a technical or human error. Where the error is obvious, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price. We will contact you before doing so.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt; the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods.

We may decline or cancel an order where the item is out of stock, there has been a pricing or listing error, the delivery address is outside our service area, we cannot verify the payment, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or resale in breach of these terms. If we cancel, you receive a full refund and an explanation.

We may also limit quantities per customer, per address or per order.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Dispatch and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy; returns, replacements and refunds by our Refund & Return Policy.

In short: because these are sealed food products, we do not accept change-of-mind returns, but we replace or refund in full anything that arrives damaged, wrong, missing or short on shelf life when reported within 48 hours with an unboxing video.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law.
• Buy for commercial resale without our written authorisation. Our products are sold for personal consumption; for wholesale, distribution or private label, contact us directly.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or other users' accounts.
• Introduce malware, scrape the site at scale, or interfere with its operation.
• Submit false information, or place orders fraudulently or on another person's payment details.
• Post reviews or content that is false, defamatory, obscene, infringing or misleading.

Intellectual property

The Swiss Green Agro name, logo, packaging design, product photography, illustrations and website content are our property or licensed to us, and are protected under Indian copyright and trade mark law.

You may view and share our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt or use it commercially — including our pack designs and photographs — without our written permission.

If you send us photographs, reviews or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with our business, with credit where practical. You confirm the content is yours to share.

Third-party links and services

This site may link to third-party sites and relies on third-party services for payments, delivery and communications. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

Liability

We provide this website on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or opportunity.

Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, government action, courier failure, power or internet outages. Where such an event occurs we will tell you and, if delivery becomes impossible, refund you in full.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The “last updated” date above always shows the current version.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the consumer's statutory right under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to approach a consumer forum where they reside or work, the courts at [CITY], Bihar shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We would much rather resolve a problem directly. Please contact our Grievance Officer first — almost everything is settled that way.
